Privacy Policy

Introduction
OlioIQ (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates olioiq.com from Portland, Oregon and provides AI agent and automation services to businesses. This policy covers what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
It applies to this site and our business communications. It does not apply to the separate systems we build and operate for clients, which are governed by those clients’ own privacy practices and by our agreement with them.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company name, and industry, along with anything else you submit through a contact form or booking request, and the notes we take during and after a discovery call.
Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and time on page, collected through standard analytics.
Scheduling information. Booking details, the appointment time you select, and your timezone, collected through our scheduling platform.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries you send us.
- Schedule, confirm, and send reminders about discovery calls.
- Prepare for and follow up on those calls.
- Provide and support services under a client agreement.
- Send business communications where lawful.
- Maintain and improve this website.
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases (UK, EU, and EEA visitors)
Where data protection law in the UK, EU, or EEA applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or taking pre-contractual steps at your request; our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms; your consent, where consent is required, such as for non-essential cookies and certain marketing communications; and compliance with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
We share it only with:
- Service providers under contract, including our CRM and scheduling platform, email and communications tools, hosting, and analytics providers.
- Professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers, where necessary.
- Parties to a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, if one occurs.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law or legal process.
Client data
When we build and operate agents, automations, and integrations for a client, we may process personal information belonging to that client’s customers, prospective and current tenants, property owners, or other contacts. In that work the client is the controller of that information and we act as a processor on their documented instructions under our agreement with them.
If you have questions about how a specific business handles your information, please contact that business directly. This policy governs our own collection and use, not our clients’ practices.
Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies that allow the site to function, along with aggregate analytics cookies that tell us how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, for the duration of a client relationship and a reasonable period after it ends, and then for as long as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Prospect records that do not convert are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls, encryption in transit, and due diligence on the vendors we use. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent you have given, and to opt out of marketing communications.
Send requests to contact@olioiq.com. We respond within the period applicable law requires, may need to verify your identity first, and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Oregon residents
Under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it, to correct inaccuracies, to have it deleted, to obtain a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not sell personal data and do not engage in targeted advertising as defined under Oregon law. Requests go to the contact address above. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and if that appeal is denied you may contact the Oregon Attorney General.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where information is transferred from the UK, EU, or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
Our site and services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Third-party links
This site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them. Review their policies before providing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “last updated” date above will reflect the revision. Where required, we will communicate material changes directly.
